World of Ruin – 2009
The band’s premiere effort, World of Ruin was released in August 2009. Recorded with Toronto based Engineer Colin Attlesey (Will of the Ancients, Profaner, Protokult),
the mastering was handled by thelegendary Dan Swano (Opeth, Katatonia, Bloodbath, Evergrey) at Unisound Studios in Sweden.
Following it’s release, Hallows Die toured extensively over the following years and solidified their name in the Canadian Metal scene. Drawing fro ma wide variety of influences,
the album gained positive recognition among industry figures for blending a sound reminiscent of European
Melodic Metal with the harsher sounds of contemporary Death Metal.
Crossing a variety of genre’s, World of Ruin is sure to hold an appeal for fans of any type of heavy music.
